A lot of press has hit the internets lately in regards to Abraham Bigg’s webcam suicide. Basically, Abraham planned to kill himself live on Justin.tv and was even egged on by users in his chat room to do so. They didn’t think he’d actually go through with it and were surprised when law enforcement broke down the door hours later. It’s a terrible situation, and all the more tragic that others were there to actually watch it go down. We’re truly in a new media world when something like this happens live on the web.

My deepest condolences go out to the family, and to anyone who was close to the guy.
